Accessibility Statement

At Yona Interior Design Studio, we believe everyone should be able to browse the website comfortably and get to know the studio's work, including people with disabilities. We have worked to make the website accessible, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

Accessibility level

The website has been adapted to the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, as far as possible. The website was tested with automated tools and manually, in leading browsers and on mobile devices.

Adjustments made to the website

  • A clear structure of headings and content regions, including a main content region on every page, for easy navigation with screen readers.
  • The language of each page is set (Hebrew or English), and text in the other language is marked as such, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
  • Alternative text for images and icons.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
  • Buttons and links are sized and spaced so they can be tapped comfortably, including on a phone.
  • Fully adapted to phones and tablets, with support for browser zoom.
  • The contact form fields have labels, and error messages are shown as text.
  • The website has no flashing or automatically changing content.
  • We take care to write the text on the site in plain, direct language that is easy to read and understand.

To enlarge text on a computer, press Ctrl + on Windows or ⌘ + on Mac, and Ctrl − or ⌘ − to reduce it. On a phone, pinch with two fingers to zoom.

Accessibility limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:

  • In the project galleries, the alternative text of some images is generic (the project name and image number) and does not describe the image's content.
  • External services the website links to, such as WhatsApp and Instagram, and Cloudflare's security check on the contact form, are not under our control.

If you run into any difficulty, we'd be glad to hear about it and fix it.

Accessibility arrangements for meetings

The studio has no permanent office that receives the public. Meetings take place at the client's home, and sometimes at an accessible shared workspace or at suppliers of building materials, furniture and accessories.

If you need any adjustment for a meeting, such as meeting at the accessible shared workspace, a flexible time or having a companion present, let us know when scheduling and we will do everything we can to adapt the meeting to your needs.

Accessibility arrangements at suppliers' premises are their responsibility. Before a meeting at a supplier, we will gladly check the accessibility arrangements there for you in advance.
